Job summary

The Archdiocese of San Antonio's St. Mark Catholic Preschool seeks a Movement and Music Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children 18 months through 5 years during the school day from 8:30 am to 2:15 pm.

You will plan and implement age-appropriate movement and music activities, maintain supervision and safety, and work closely with staff to align with Catholic education and preschool goals. A strong emphasis on faith development and family communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• CDP/ECele coursework or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with families.
• Comfort with Catholic education environment and mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 18 months to 5 years.
• Plan and implement movement and music activities aligned with curriculum.
• Maintain supervision and safety of children and cleanliness of learning areas.
• Collaborate with staff to support faith formation and program goals.
• Communicate effectively with parents and leadership about child progress.
