Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA credential preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification may be obtained during training.
• Meet state’s education criteria and Safe Environment requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Supervise and train assistants in policies and procedures.
• Create and implement lesson plans.
• Prepare daily reports for each child.
• Attend staff meetings outside work hours.
• Provide positive feedback to parents.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and professionals.
• Adhere to DFPS regulations and archdiocesan policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Support Catholic education and Gospel values in the classroom.
