Job summary

Immaculate Conception Parish and School in Hialeah, FL, is seeking a proactive Business Manager to lead finance, HR, and facilities operations for the parish and school. The role reports to the Pastor and focuses on budgeting, accounting, payroll, and internal controls to support mission-critical activities.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in management or accounting with at least seven years’ experience, including supervisory responsibilities, knowledge of GAAP, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Management, Business or Public Administration, Accounting or related field; 7 years professional experience.
• Must include a minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial and contributors’ files.
• Experience in fundraising and promotion of non-profit religious institutions.
• Mastery in English with excellent verbal and writing skills; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate financial and budget activities to fund operations.
• Design and implement internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions.
• Support office management, HR, accounting, and systems.
• Coordinate parish and school events and external relations.
• Supervise parish office staff and conduct performance reviews.
