Job summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a part-time Catholic Music Director to support worship at Vandenberg Space Force Base in Lompoc, CA. You will provide music leadership for weekly services and special observances, coordinating with the Catholic Priest.

You will prepare liturgical music, lead rehearsals with volunteers or choirs, and direct worship music selections. You will maintain chapel music equipment and coordinate with the Priest during services.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of church music experience as a Music Director or primary musician.
• Proficient in piano/keyboard or guitar and able to read, transpose, and perform music.
• Experience with Catholic liturgical music, hymns, psalms, acclamations, and congregational music.
• High school diploma or equivalent and strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform music for weekly Catholic worship services and special observances.

Part-time position supporting Catholic chapel music services at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Lompoc, CA. The Music Director will support weekly worship services, rehearsals, special/holiday services, and scheduled meetings. Exact times are coordinated with the Catholic Priest.
