Job summary

Blessed Miguel Pro in Colorado seeks a hands-on, mission-driven part-time substitute teacher to join our Catholic school community. The teacher will lead with a Catholic worldview, view education as a sacred calling, and help students reach their God-given potential within a nurturing setting.

Responsibilities

Uphold Catholic Identity: Teach and act in alignment with the doctrinal and moral teachings of the Catholic Church, and uphold the mission, philosophy, and policies of the Catholic school.
Instruction & Curriculum Delivery: Deliver prepared instructional materials to students in a classroom.
Communication & Collaboration: Maintain communication with parents (as needed), colleagues, and school leadership; attend required meetings.
Professional Development & Compliance: Participate in required training and professional development, and maintain necessary certifications.
Classroom Management & School Duties: Ensure a safe and orderly learning environment, maintain accurate records, follow safety procedures, respect confidentiality, and perform assigned duties such as recess and lunchroom supervision.
