Blessed Miguel Pro in Colorado seeks a hands-on, mission-driven part-time substitute teacher to join our Catholic school community. The teacher will lead with a Catholic worldview, view education as a sacred calling, and help students reach their God-given potential within a nurturing setting.

The role requires elementary education background, proper certification, and compliance with Safe Environment guidelines.

Qualifications

Fully initiated Catholic living according to Church teachings.
Background and training in elementary education.
Effective classroom management skills.
Strong communication and cooperation with staff.
Criminal background check with positive references.

Responsabilités

Uphold Catholic Identity: Teach and act in alignment with the doctrinal and moral teachings of the Catholic Church, and uphold the mission, philosophy, and policies of the Catholic school.
Instruction & Curriculum Delivery: Deliver prepared instructional materials to students in a classroom.
Communication & Collaboration: Maintain communication with parents (as needed), colleagues, and school leadership; attend required meetings.
Professional Development & Compliance: Participate in required training and professional development, and maintain necessary certifications.
Classroom Management & School Duties: Ensure a safe and orderly learning environment, maintain accurate records, follow safety procedures, respect confidentiality, and perform assigned duties such as recess and lunchroom supervision.
