Job summary

The Augustine Institute Graduate School of Theology seeks a full-time faculty member to serve as Area Director of the MA in Catholic Education program and support other Institute initiatives pertaining to Catholic education.

This leadership role requires influencing Catholic education across primary and secondary settings, and building collaborative relationships with schools, dioceses, and church partners in a mission-driven academic community in Florissant, MO.

Qualifications

• Deep and broad understanding of the Catholic educational tradition.
• Clear understanding of opportunities and challenges in primary and secondary Catholic education in the United States.
• Terminal degree in theology, philosophy, education, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the MA in Catholic Education program.
• Support other Augustine Institute initiatives pertaining to Catholic education.
• Articulate convictions about Catholic education in relation to the Church’s identity, teaching, and mission.
• Engage with audiences and foster partnerships with institutional partners.
