Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a corrosion and cathodic protection consultant to join our Infrastructure Advisory Technical Delivery team. You will work on projects across water, energy, and power, conducting field investigations, corrosion assessments, and design calculations with increasing ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, corrosion engineering, or related technical field, or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, condition assessment, or similar infrastructure work.
• NACE/AMPP Certified (CP) or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform field activities related to corrosion assessment and cathodic protection of pipelines, tanks, and related infrastructure.
• Conduct cathodic protection system testing, commissioning, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze and interpret field data to identify corrosion risks and develop technical recommendations.
• Support development of cathodic protection system designs, including calculations, sizing, and drawings.
• Coordinate field activities and ensure project logistics and safety requirements are met.
