Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a dedicated Cathode Design Engineer to join the Cathode R&D team. You will design, plan, and execute experiments to advance cathode active materials and their manufacturing processes, aiming for scalable, cost-effective production.

You will analyze data, develop flowsheets, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to translate lab findings into industrial-scale workflows, while contributing to IP development and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong ability to apply engineering principles to solve process development problems.
• Industrial experience in process development or scale-up in battery or materials industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute experiments to collect data for scaling CAM production and optimizing processes.
• Analyze results to identify improvements and develop robust manufacturing workflows.
