Job summary

MemorialCare Health System in Saddleback Medical Center seeks a part-time Cath Lab Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures for adult to geriatric patients. This role supports STEMI and other emergent interventions as part of a capable receiving center.

The position requires scrubbing and monitoring hemodynamic data, patient care duties, and adherence to infection control and privacy standards while participating in department education and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• One year Special Procedures, Cath Lab, Vascular Lab and/or EP Lab experience preferred.
• Dysrhythmia or EKG class completed within first year.
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience preferred.
• Strong computer, internet, order entry and word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures for adults through geriatric patients.
• Scrub and monitor physiologic hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Assist in patient care and lab preparation; observe infection-control policies.
• Support STEMI/Stroke/Thrombectomy center readiness and maintain confidentiality.
