St. David's Medical Center in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist PRN to join our cardiovascular care team. You will scrub and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, monitor hemodynamics, and support ongoing process improvements within the lab.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you are responsible for direct and indirect patient care, scrubbing for diagnostic/interventional cases and hemodynamic monitoring. You will assist in ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, cost efficiency, providing appropriate information towards future needs and actively supports process improvement within the department.

• You will scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures
• You will monitor and document procedure in the hemodynamic system
• You will educate patients and family members regarding the technical aspects of the procedure
• You will assist in ordering supplies/maintaining inventory

Job Requirements

Experience

• Cath Lab/Special Procedures Lab experience - Required

Education

• High School Diploma – Required
• Associate degree or above – Preferred
• Current Enrollment in an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program – Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare policy
• ACLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare policy – Required within 6 months
• RCIS, or RCES, or RT ( R ) license from an accrediting body – Required within 12 months
