Job Summary

As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all ancillary equipment in the lab including IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser, and angiojet.
• Demonstrate competency in scrubbing techniques for all diagnostic and interventional procedures and utilize radiation safety practices.
• Manage staff and room activities to maximize productivity, coordinate staffing assignments, and collaborate with other departments.
• Initiate actions to minimize case delays, report schedule information promptly, and facilitate departmental productivity.
• Operate radiographic equipment and physiologic recorder/database systems, recognizing arrhythmias and normal/abnormal waveforms.
• Operate manifold, power injector, and other support equipment (VCR, ACT machines, oximeters, transport monitors).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and at least 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – CPR certified within the last 14 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – certified within the last 6 months.

Benefits

Pay Range: $33.84 - $50.34 per hour
