Job summary

Trinity Health in Alabama seeks a Cath Lab Imaging Technologist to assist physicians with imaging during diagnosis and treatment of cardiac cath lab patients. Must live within 30 minutes of the facility; day shift with on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality imaging, aseptic technique, patient transport, and documentation of physiologic data. ARRT registry or equivalent is required; BLS within 3 months, ACLS preferred within 6 months; RCIS certification pursued within 1.5

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology and ARRT registry, with a valid permit to practice.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire; ACLS preferred within 6 months; mandatory reporter within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician with imaging during diagnosis and treatment of cardiac cath lab patients.
• Proficient with aseptic technique and assists with scrubbing during procedures; transports patients to/from cath lab; may apply hemostasis.
• Assists with physiologic monitoring/data devices; calibrates devices; documents procedural data.
