Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a team delivering advanced care during cardiac procedures. You’ll work alongside physicians, using state-of-the-art lab technology, and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.

The role emphasizes precision and compassionate care, with opportunities to collaborate in a high-quality hospital environment. Eligible candidates will have relevant certifications and no travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
