• Minimum 1 year experience as an Interventional Rad Tech in Cath Lab or CV Tech.
• Must obtain CVIS or RCIS Certification within 6 months of hire.

Work Schedule:

(4) 10 hours shifts 7A-530P; 8 days of call mandated per month (5 weekdays and a Friday, Saturday and Sunday); 2 summer and 2 winter holiday on call required.

The invasive cardiac vascular technologist assists with all aspects of invasive services and patient care in the cardiac vascular procedure environment. This area includes but is not limited to cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and endovascular procedures.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• 2 year/Associate Degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Science required or Post HS Diploma from a Radiologic technology program.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Interventional Rad Tech in Cath Lab or CV Tech.

Certification and Licensure

• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• Cardiac Vascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire), or R.T.(R) from ARRT, upon hire, required.
