Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience, prior travel experience preferred.
• Must have cath lab experience.
• IR experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform heart caths, EP studies, pacers, defibrillators, and IR procedures.
• Work in Cath Lab & IR with a guarantee of flexibility in shifts.
• Participate in call requirements and weekend shifts.

Shift Notes: 8-hour shifts, possible weekends, with call

Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R), fluoroscopy license, scrub experience required

Pay: $85-$90 per hour

Unit Details

• Start ASAP
• Must be fully experienced with cardiac, EP, IR, neuro/stroke, and structural heart procedures
• Work 5x8 hour shifts, with weekly guarantee of 36 hours for flexibility
• Unit: Cath Lab & IR with 3 suites
• Average 8-10 cases per day
• EMR System: Meditech
• Charge Nurse presence: Yes
• Weekend and call requirements: 24 hr call two weekends per month; evening call 1-2 times/week with 30 min response time
• Holidays: One major and one minor
• Scrub color provided
• Equipment: GE MacLab
• On-call cardiologist: 24/7
• RT and Pharmacy: 24/7 availability
• Shifts: 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, with call coverage after shift if needed
• Orientation: One shift on unit
• Common procedures include heart caths, EP studies, pacers, defibrillators, IR procedures

Note: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, prior travel experience preferred. IR experience is a plus but not required. Must have cath lab experience.
