Job summary

Fauquier Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Cath Lab Tech for the day shift. You will perform patient care in a setting that emphasizes safety, collaborate across the care team, and help coordinate transfers and education to ensure optimal outcomes.

ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology is required; BLS is mandatory, and ACLS within 6 months of hire. CI or RCIS is preferred. Fauquier Health offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology is required or preferred.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• CI or RCIS certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of patient care with a focus on safety and error reduction.
• Formulates and revises a care plan based on patient response and daily evaluation.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team and family.
• Coordinates care across disciplines including transfers and discharge.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age and condition.
• Advocates for patient physical and emotional well-being and rights.

How You'll Contribute

• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
• Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.

What We're Looking For -

Applicants should be ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology. CI or RCIS preferred.

• Basic Life Support certification is required
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
