Job summary

Fauquier Health is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift to deliver patient-centered care in a community hospital setting in Virginia.

You will perform assessments, implement interventions, document care, and contribute to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for critically ill patients in the ICU.

Qualifications

• BLS is required within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS and NIHSS required within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Schedule: Part Time Nights

Fauquier Health's ICU is home to Critical Care trained physicians, making us a unique community hospital that provides 24/7 critical care intensivist coverage. Our ICU provides the services our community needs close to home.

How You'll Contribute

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 7 days of hire
• ACLS, NIHSS required within 30 days of hire
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required

Hourly Range: $39.18 - $60.73
