Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a team delivering lifesaving cardiac procedures with state-of-the-art lab technology and strong collegial support.

You will work with physicians and staff to guide patients, maintain equipment, and ensure high standards of care while prioritizing patient comfort and education throughout the treatment journey.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Eligible credentials include RT/Radiographer, RDCS, CRT, RRT/RCP, LPN/LVN, CST, or Paramedic.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with advanced cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.

ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS within 2 years
