Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a Cath Lab Tech (CVT) to join a Level 1 Trauma Center. This full-time, in-person position offers a sign-on bonus up to $30,000 and relocation assistance. New grads encouraged to apply with specialized training to earn RCIS certification and a clinical ladder for enhanced pay.

Call with 30-minute response required. The Cath Lab performs complex procedures with access to STAT PCI and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Allied Health Profession School (RTR, RT).
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Electrophysiology preferred.
• Current licensure/registration: RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) and AHABLS/AHA ACLS within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and technically advanced equipment for invasive procedures.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic/interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient condition, document case data, and ensure equipment readiness.
