Job summary

Black Women’s Mental Health Institute is seeking a Cardiac Technologist to support life-saving cardiovascular diagnostics and procedures. The role involves invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular, interventional, and electrophysiology testing with advanced imaging and monitoring equipment.

The ideal candidate holds an associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology, with knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics and X-ray techniques.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and X-ray techniques.
• RCIS certification within 12 months and ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular, interventional, and electrophysiology tests using imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Utilize GE, Siemens, Philips systems and understand pharmacologic impacts on cardiac care.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure patient safety and accurate data collection.
