Ascension in Racine, Wisconsin, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic images, patient safety, and close collaboration with physicians and technologists during complex procedures.

Minimum requirements include BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and education either a high school diploma or equivalency or enrollment in an approved program, with graduation expected within a year.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver precise diagnostic images by positioning patients and selecting technical parameters to ensure image quality and patient comfort.
• Maintain radiation protection and safety standards to protect patients and team during imaging sessions.
• Assist supervising technologists and physicians during a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulatory guidelines to support patient safety.
