Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to perform invasive cardiology procedures and hemodynamic monitoring in a cardiovascular lab. Ideal candidates hold ARRT-R or RCIS licensure and have prior cardiovascular lab experience, plus completion of an invasive cardiology training program.

BCLS certification is required at hire and ACLS within 30 days; duties include maintaining proficiency with cardiovascular tech systems and ensuring strict safety and performance protocols.

Qualifications

• Cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
• Completion of an invasive cardiology training program preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) certification required at hire and must be current.

The Cardiovascular Technologist will perform various tasks in a cardiovascular lab. The ideal candidate will have the required licensure and certifications, along with relevant experience and training in invasive cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct invasive cardiology procedures and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Maintain proficiency in computer systems related to cardiovascular technology.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and performance protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT-R and state-required license or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred.
• Completion of a Cardiovascular technologist training program focused on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be kept current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
