Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in a hospital setting in Austin, Texas. You will monitor heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and oxygen saturation during procedures while preparing rooms and assisting with patient care.

The role includes transporting patients, maintaining aseptic technique, and educating patients about post-procedure care.

Qualifications

• Must hold RT-R ARRT or RCIS licensure.
• Experience assisting with cardiovascular diagnostic/interventional procedures is a plus.
• Ability to maintain aseptic technique and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with evaluating, diagnosing, and treating the cardiovascular system during procedures.
• Prepare equipment and set up rooms for procedures.

This cardiovascular technologist role involves supporting a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures within a hospital setting. Your day may include preparing equipment, setting up rooms, transporting patients, and cleaning up afterward. The work requires handling diagnostic equipment, maintaining aseptic techniques, and providing patient education on post-procedure care and activity. This assignment offers hands‑on experience in cardiac catheterization labs, with an engaging mix of technical tasks and patient interaction, all in a fast‑paced environment. Applicants should hold RT‑R ARRT or RCIS licensure and be comfortable working on rotating on‑call schedules.
