Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech in Alamogordo, NM to join a fast-paced, state-of-the-art catheterization lab environment. You will operate fluoroscopy equipment, perform digital image capture, and assist with complex devices under a patient-focused safety culture.

You will work with physicians, nurses, and technologists, ensuring readiness, accuracy, and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Proficient in fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety.
• Experience with digital image acquisition and documentation.
• Familiar with cath lab room setup and supply stocking.
• Proficient in contrast injector setup and operation.
• Basic familiarity with IVUS/ICE workflows.
• Experience with device support, including IABP, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and LVAD support.
• Proven ability to manage access sites post-procedure.
• Experience with systems-based charting and procedure documentation.
• Knowledge of infection prevention protocols and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operating fluoroscopy equipment accurately and safely, maintaining radiation safety practices at all times.
• Acquiring and documenting digital images as per the required standards.
• Setting up the cath lab room, including equipment checks and supply stocking, to ensure readiness for procedures.
• Setting up and operating contrast injectors.
• Providing basic support and workflow familiarity with IVUS / ICE.
• Assisting with device support, including IABP, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and LVAD support.
• Managing access sites post-procedure, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Documenting procedures accurately, using systems-based charting.
• Following strict infection prevention protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Ensuring patient safety, privacy, and communication in procedural settings, fostering a positive patient experience.
