Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Cath Lab Tech for a permanent, full-time role in Alamogordo, NM. The position offers an hourly pay range of $26–$42.90, with on-site work and a $10,000 sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance.

You'll join a high-acuity cardiovascular program delivering diagnostic and interventional procedures, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and technologists. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will operate fluoroscopy equipment, document images, set up rooms, assist with IVUS/ICE, and support

Qualifications

• The candidate has at least 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Proficiency in fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety.
• Experience with digital image capture and documentation.
• Familiarity with cath lab setup, equipment checks, and stocking.
• Proficient in contrast injector setup and operation.
• Basic knowledge of IVUS/ICE workflow.
• Experience with device support including IABP and LVAD.
• Strong charting and procedure documentation skills.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety practices.
• Excellent communication with a patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopy equipment safely and maintain radiation practices.

Responsibilities

As a Cath Lab Tech, your responsibilities will include:

1. Operating fluoroscopy equipment accurately and safely, maintaining radiation safety practices at all times.
2. Acquiring and documenting digital images as per the required standards.
3. Setting up the cath lab room, including equipment checks and supply stocking, to ensure readiness for procedures.
4. Setting up and operating contrast injectors.
5. Providing basic support and workflow familiarity with IVUS / ICE.
6. Assisting with device support, including IABP, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and LVAD support.
7. Managing access sites post-procedure, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
8. Documenting procedures accurately, using systems-based charting.
9. Following strict infection prevention protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
10. Ensuring patient safety, privacy, and communication in procedural settings, fostering a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety practices.
3. Experience with digital image acquisition and documentation.
4. Familiarity with cath lab room setup, equipment checks, and supply stocking.
5. Proficiency in contrast injector setup and operation.
6. Basic support and workflow familiarity with IVUS / ICE.
7. Experience with device support, including IABP, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and LVAD support.
8. Proven ability to manage access sites post-procedure.
9. Experience with systems-based charting and procedure documentation accuracy.
10. Knowledge of infection prevention protocols and patient safety practices.
11. Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
