Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Cath Lab radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures and provide patient care while ensuring radiation safety. The role includes equipment operation, documentation, and on-call coverage.

Qualified candidates will be graduates of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT or board eligible with NM licensure, and BLS (ACLS within one year). One year of radiologic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT or board eligible; NM licensure required; BLS; ACLS within the first year.
• One year radiologic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac and interventional procedures in accordance with department protocols and within standard time frames.
• Prepares and orients patients to procedures to be performed.
• Provides patient care in the Cath Lab.
• Provides radiation protection to patients, fellow workers and self.
• Operates imaging equipment, computer and other department equipment; maintains documentation.
• Maintains supplies and a clean, orderly work area.
• Is cooperative and courteous to patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
• Participates in professional continuing education and on-call coverage after hours.
• Performs Point of Care testing procedures.
