Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves performing cardiovascular radiology procedures, acting as scrub assistant, and supporting RN in direct patient care on a day shift.

Required: ARRT Radiology Tech, BLS, ACLS within 60 days, and 10 months radiologic experience; AZ CRT license; CI/RCIS certifications preferred. Sign-on bonus of $20k offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology or related training required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 10 months Radiologic Technology experience required.
• ARRT Radiology Tech license required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required within 60 days.
• AZ CRT license required.
• CI - Cardiac Interventional certification (ARRT) required/valid.
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist required/valid.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiological procedures in cardiovascular labs as ordered by physician.
• Provide surgical scrub assistance to physicians and assist RN with patient care.
• Maintain quality control and equipment in CCL/EP/IR labs and stock supplies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to train and monitor staff performance in the cardiovascular suite.

Responsibilities

The Rad Tech position is responsible for performing high quality radiological procedures in the cardiovascular labs in accordance with governing regulations and standards. Includes using ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment of patients in a safe and timely manner as ordered by physician. Responsible for quality control and maintenance of department aprons and radiology equipment used in the CCL/EP/IR labs. Stocks all supplies as necessary. Responsible for providing surgical scrub assistance to physicians. Assists the RN with direct patient care.

Job Summary

Independently demonstrates the ability to utilize evidence-based clinical knowledge to assist the physician with the diagnoses and treatment plan of the cardiovascular patient through the set up and operation of the diagnostic and treatment devices in the cardiovascular suite. Operates the medical radiology equipment as well as the role of scrub assistant to the physician in the cardiovascular suite.

Works in collaboration with the medical staff and department leadership to recommend and maintain the supply chain of products in the cardiovascular suite.

Works in collaboration with the medical staff and department leadership to train and monitor the performance of all personnel working in the cardiovascular suite.

Remains current with the organization's regulatory standards and CMS regulations.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education

• Associate's Degree from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT Vocational/Specialized Training such as related coursework, seminars or certifications Required
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT Vocational/Specialized Preferred

• 10 months Radiologic Technology Required
