Travel Cath Lab Tech Day

Location: Central California

Length of Assignment: 13‑Week Contract (Full‑Time / Part‑Time / Per Diem Shifts Available)

Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday/Sunday; Holiday as needed

The campus provides a 24‑hour emergency room, including special pediatric emergency care provided by doctors board certified in both pediatrics and emergency medicine. General medical and surgical services are offered, as well as key specialty care.

Competently performs routine and specialized interventional radiology procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other health‑care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.

Education

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• Graduation from a Radiologic Technologist Program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or equivalent education/experience.

Certification & Licensure

• All certifications must include AHA‑ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider
• Either RCIS or AART and CA license.
• Preferred RCIS or RCES or ARRT or CRT

Preferred Experience

• 5 years required basic clinical and practical experience as typically acquired in a similar environment.
• Experience scrubbing, circulating, & monitoring Cath Lab procedures. Procedures to include Coronary Angiograms with PCI, Pacemakers, Peripheral Aortograms.
