Job summary

UT Health East Texas in Tyler, TX is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a day shift, full-time position. The role involves performing diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic radiology procedures in collaboration with radiologists and nursing staff.

Qualified applicants will graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications, and be licensed by the Texas Department of Health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school
• ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification
• Licensed with the Texas Department of Health according to regulations

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic, interventional, and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination/treatment by complying with established policies and procedures.
• Organizes and documents all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with radiologists, nursing personnel, and other areas of the department to ensure accurate and timely performance of radiology procedures.
• Participates in performance improvement activities by participating in the collection of data for performance improvement activities to ensure quality is consistent with established standards.

Education

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school

ARRT or RCIS/RCES

Licensed with the Texas Department of Health
