Job summary

UT Health East Texas is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for day shift, full-time employment in Tyler, TX. The role focuses on diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic radiology procedures across patients of all ages, ensuring accurate examinations and coordinated care with radiologists and nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT/RCIS/RCES credentials, and be licensed by the Texas Department

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school.
• ARRT or RCIS/RCES.
• Licensed with the Texas department of Health according to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic, interventional, and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination/treatment by complying with established policies and procedures.
• Organizes and documents all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with radiologists, nursing personnel, and other areas of the department to ensure accurate and timely performance of radiology procedures.
• Participates in performance improvement activities by participating in the collection of data for performance improvement activities to ensure quality is consistent with established standards.

Education
