Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to support the Cath Lab operations. You will prepare equipment, assess patient condition, position and care for patients while maintaining a sterile environment.

The role includes precepting new hires and radiology students and coordinating downtime tasks with leadership. Schedule is 0600-1830, 3 12‑hour days with 1 day of call per week and weekend call every 3-4 weekends; day shift, regular full-time position, with opportunities for

Qualifications

Completion of a surgical technician program.
RCIS certification preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation.
Current BLS maintained through employment.
ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
Identifies and assesses patient condition; prepares, positions and provides patient care.
Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students; participates in orientation.
Stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other tasks as delegated.
Maintains strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure patient care.
Acting as a Service Lead.
