Job summary
Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab on a PRN basis. The team operates a comprehensive cardiovascular program with 16 Same Day Surgery Cath Lab rooms and five procedure rooms, supported by ten cardiologists including interventionists and an electrophysiologist.
The role emphasizes moderate sedation, monitoring, and post-care, with opportunities for advancement and strong safety protocols.
Qualifications
- RN licensed in Oklahoma with appropriate nursing degree/diploma.
- Experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring for Cath Lab patients.
- Circulating and pre/post care for procedures.
- Document data for national registries with accuracy.
- Perform daily equipment quality checks and ensure safe standards.
- Apply cardiovascular medication knowledge and monitor for adverse events.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; maintain anatomy and radiation safety awareness.
- Demonstrate advanced ECG and arrhythmia skills; adapt to shift needs.
