Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to join its cardiovascular program as a Regular Full Time team member in Norman, OK. The role involves prep and care of patients in the Cath Lab, sustaining sterile conditions, and supporting physicians across Cath Lab procedures.

The ideal candidate has a 24-month Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technologist program and is ready to complete required Cath Lab orientation within six months, with opportunity for advancement within

Qualifications

• Completion of Cath Lab RT orientation within 6 months.
• Competencies in department policy within 6 months.
• Active engagement in patient care and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
• Identifies and assesses patient condition; prepares and positions patient.
• Maintains sterile environment and supports team during procedures.
• Acts as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
• Assists with room stocking, equipment checks, and other delegated tasks.
