Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage seeks an Administrative Cath Lab Coordinator to schedule Cath Lab procedures, coordinate with physicians, manage supply orders, and ensure accurate billing documentation. You will support ACC, NCDR and carotid registries data entry and work closely with clinical staff to optimize patient flow.

The ideal candidate has a year of medical office scheduling or equivalent, strong organizational and customer service skills, and a high school diploma.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Clerical skills required

Responsibilities

  • Represent hospital teams by scheduling Cath Lab procedures professionally.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As the scheduler for the Cath Lab at our facility, you will provide timely, courteous and professional service to patients and physicians when scheduling procedures for the Cath Lab. Our team has a passion for creating positive patient interactions and is dedicated to caring for the multi-faceted wellness of those we serve. In this role:

  • You will represent our hospital teams by interacting in a professional manner while scheduling Cath Lab procedures for the Cath Lab.
  • You will assist with inventory control through proper ordering of supplies, CDM requisitions and routine ordering of supplies.
  • You will ensure that proper billing documentation is recorded on an as needed basis.
  • You will assist staff with the collection and input of data for the ACC, NCDR and carotid registries.
  • You will work closely with physicians’ offices to assure overall customer satisfaction.
  • You will complete other duties as assigned.
