Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography or a Cardiovascular Technologist credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
• Three years of invasive vascular radiography/cath lab experience are required.
• Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal imaging and manage the imaging chain in the cath lab.
• Assist with equipment and supply maintenance; function as scrub assistant during procedures.
• Monitor data during procedures and contribute to CQI and cost-effective care.
• Train and educate new staff; serve as liaison to management.
