Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Irving, TX is seeking an Invasive Cardiology RN for the Cath Lab. This full-time days role requires at least 2 years in CVICU/Cath Lab nursing; ER candidates with Level I trauma experience may be considered.

Shift is 4/10 hour days with call requirements based on unit needs. The lab comprises 5 invasive cardiology labs, including 2 EP labs, with a strong focus on teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of high-level Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU and/or Cath Lab RN experience.
• ER candidates with minimum 2 years of level I Trauma experience will be considered.
• ACLS and BLS certifications within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with proceduralist and anesthesia to ensure safe patient care.
• Delegate interventions to team members based on competency.
• Maintain patient safety and optimize transitions through care pathways.
