Job summary

Prairie Lakes Healthcare System in Watertown, SD is seeking a full-time registered nurse for 0.8 status (32 hours/week) and PRN/Relief positions. The role uses the nursing process to provide patient care, document, identify abnormalities, and respond with initiative. Shift is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• South Dakota nursing licensure eligibility.
• CPR required; ACLS and PALS certification eligible/certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per established standards, policies, procedures, licensure, and scope of practice.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and patient-specific care to patients per approved nursing techniques.
• Responsible for complete patient assessment and documents on the Cardiac Cath Flow sheet.
• Demonstrate ability to function as scrub nurse, circulating nurse, and do hemodynamic monitoring.
• Other duties as assigned.
