Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage is seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab RN for PRN positions. You will support invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements include active nursing license, ADN with BSN preferred, 2–3 years Cath Lab experience, BLS and ACLS certification. This role offers flexible PRN hours within the HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in good standing.
• Associate degree in nursing required, bachelor’s preferred.
• Two to three years of Cath Lab experience required. Emergency Room / ICU experience preferred.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS)

Responsibilities

• Assist with all invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Facilitate effective communication among departmental staff using SBAR hand-off.
• Assist patients through all aspects of the procedure including transport, site prep, sterile technique, monitoring and hemostasis.
• Maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient records and prepare tests for interpretation.
• Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to function under stress.
• Collaborate with team members and orient as needed.
