Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist PRN in Anchorage to join our team dedicated to delivering high quality cardiovascular care. You will assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, prepare patients, and operate advanced equipment to ensure safe treatment.

The role emphasizes patient education, vigilant monitoring, sterile practices, and compassionate care as part of a collaborative team in a busy cath lab environment.

Qualifications

• RCIS preferred or ARRT(R) certification
• Two (2) years invasive cardiology experience preferred (not required)
• State-licensed or credentialed clinical professional for cath lab environment

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

Education

Associate’s Degree in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering and/or primary science

ACLS within 30 days of employment start date

Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
