Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an experienced RN to join the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology team. The role involves intraprocedural care, mixing drips, and providing sedation as an intraprocedural RN. This on-call position requires rapid response within 45 minutes.

BSN preferred with graduation from an accredited nursing school and 3–5 years of nursing experience in ICU/ER/critical care. Cardiac ICU or CVICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; RN licensed to practice.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• 3–5 years nursing experience.
• ICU/ER/critical care experience required.
• Cardiac ICU or CVICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality patient care.
• Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide and document care and teaching.
• Effectively communicates patient/family information to the health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• Acts as patient advocate while planning, delivering, and evaluating age-specific, safe care for all patients.
