Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN to provide specialty nursing support in the cath lab, collaborating with interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities include triaging calls, assisting during procedures, IV insertions, and patient education, with on-call duties for rapid emergency response. Requires a nursing specialty program graduate; Telemetry/ED/ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
• Telemetry/ED/ICU experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Triages patient calls, obtains medical history, vital signs, and prepares patients for examinations.
• Assists providers during procedures, collects specimens, and manages documentation.
• Provides patient education on conditions and treatments, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Performs IV insertions, administers medications, and monitors diagnostic equipment.
• Supports day-to-day clinic activities, maintains asepsis, and prepares procedure rooms.
• Participates in On-Call duties for Level 1 Heart Attack Program, with response time under 30 minutes.
