Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, MS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process. You will coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team, administer medications, educate patients and families, and respond to emergencies with a compassionate approach.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety, documentation, and collaborative practice within a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality care close to home.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state or compact state.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Document findings accurately and report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency level.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR as needed.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Contribute to performance improvement and quality initiatives.
