Job summary

Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants (CCC) seeks a dedicated Cath Lab RN to join its cardiovascular team in Clearwater, FL. The role alternates between Cath Lab and PCU/pre-post procedure care, providing pre- and post-procedure nursing care, medication administration, and patient education in a high-quality care environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS, and has strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Experience in Cath Lab/PCU/recovery or procedural nursing preferred
• Strong organizational, attention to detail and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure care including nursing assessments, medication reconciliation, IV initiation and site preparation.
• Administer medications IV/Oral/IM as directed by physician.
• Monitor vitals, document progress in electronic records, and respond to changes in condition.
• Assist during procedures and support safe, efficient operations.
• Discharge patients per physician orders and education.
• Maintain Cath Lab/PCU areas in ready state and manage equipment inventory.
