Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to deliver procedural nursing in a high-acuity setting. You will circulate and monitor interventional cases, assist with structural heart procedures, and support emergent STEMI activations within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• BSN required within 5 years of hire.
• Virginia RN licensure and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor during procedures including interventional cardiology cases and emergent STEMI activations.
• Manage patients with ICU-level acuity and continuous monitoring.
• Work in a 4-person team to ensure safe procedural flow.
• Anticipate physician needs and support complex workflows.
• Handle specialized equipment and maintain readiness.
• Complete detailed documentation for continuity of care.
• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours cardiac cases.
