Job summary

Lee Health's HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a full-time position in the Cardiac Cath department. The role involves high-acuity cardiovascular care, call coverage, and teamwork with Cardiologists.

Responsibilities include nursing care from assessment to evaluation, assisting with invasive procedures, and circulating/scrubbing duties to support patient outcomes. Requires acute care experience and Florida RN license, with BLS/ACLS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year critical care nursing experience required.
• Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
• License: Current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
• Other: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• Location: US:FL:Fort Myers

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assist Cardiologists with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab/EP Lab.
• Independently perform circulating, scrubbing, recording, and 2nd circulating functions.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure high-quality patient care.
