The Cath Lab Registered Nurse at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center delivers specialized care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. This cross-functional role rotates across preoperative, intra-procedural, and post-procedure phases, with on-call commitments to support STEMI interventions within the hospital's response time.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing and BLS required.
• Prior cath lab or interventional heart procedures exposure preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.
• Assist Cardiologist during catheterization procedures and monitor vitals.
• Administer medications and manage post-procedure orders and education.
• Respond to emergencies, participate in CPR/code team activities, and ensure infection control.
• Document care, coordinate with care teams, and support on-call coverage as needed.
