Job summary

Heart & Vascular Partners is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse – Monitor/Circulator to provide expert patient care during peripheral and coronary procedures, device implants, and EP ablations. The role requires knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and arrhythmia recognition in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will perform pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing tasks, collaborate with the cath lab team, handle sedation and monitoring, and participate in

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN).
• Current RN license in Missouri.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Moderate sedation competency and radiation safety training.

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedural patient preparation and education.
• Monitor vital signs, ECG, O2, and hemodynamics during procedures.
• Circulate in the procedure room: set up equipment, obtain supplies, assist with devices.
• Administer medications, contrast, and anticoagulants as ordered; monitor ACT.
• Provide post-procedural care and education; document care in records.
• Respond to emergencies including ACLS, defibrillation, and pacing.
• Collaborate with the cath lab team and rotate pre/post-op duties as needed.
