St Louis Heart & Vascular is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse – Monitor/Circulator (Cath Lab RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in monitoring and circulating roles during diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role includes pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care with a focus on cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and arrhythmia recognition.
The ideal candidate will have ADN/BSN, current RN license in the state, BLS/ACLS certification, and 1–2 years
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [State].
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Moderate sedation competency and radiation safety training per organizational policy.
Responsabilités
- Pre-procedural assessments and patient education.
- Monitor vital signs, ECG, oxygen saturation, and hemodynamic waveforms.
- Circulate during procedures; prepare room, equipment, and supplies.
- Administer medications, contrast, and anticoagulants as ordered; monitor ACT.
- Post-procedural monitoring and care; educate patients on post-procedure care.
