Job summary

AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL is seeking a registered nurse with experience in invasive cardiology to assess patients, develop care plans, and support procedures in a high-acuity cardiovascular setting.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, ensure patient safety, and provide education to patients and families. Prior CVIS/ICU exposure is valued; a Florida RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor degree in nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in Florida or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assesss patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation and chart review.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team; monitor outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency in invasive cardiology procedures and related interventions.
• Advocate for patient safety and rights; maintain comprehensive patient charts.
• Provide patient and family education and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
• Manage patient flow and resources based on unit needs and nursing competencies.
• Document procedures accurately in the medical record; adhere to policies.
