Job summary

DLP Cardiac Partners in Morganton, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support Cath Lab procedures. You will assist cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions for adult patients, performing circulating, monitoring and scrub duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of critical care or catheterization experience, the ability to read EKGs, and current NC nursing licensure with BLS; ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of critical care experience or cardiac catheterization experience and working with hemodynamic waveforms and vaso-active medications required.
• Ability to read and recognize EKGs and dysrhythmias required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
